Brexit and lower tariffs in the non-EEA European countries
As Brexit takes place and the transition period ends, new tariffs for services in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar, as well as for communication with these countries from Latvia will take effect on 01.01.2021.
- Zone 2 tariffs will apply to calls and text messages from Latvia to the United Kingdom and Gibraltar: calls will cost 0.29 €/min, and text messages 0.08 €/SMS. For LMT Karte customers: calls 0.51 €/min, text messages 0.06 €/SMS
- In the United Kingdom and Gibraltar, tariffs and conditions applicable to telecommunication services in non-EEA European countries* will apply.
- Internet data volumes included in the tariff plans or internet services will no longer be available in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar. In the future, Internet while Travelling Global 1 will be available in these countries: 1 GB for 15 days for 12.99 €.
At the same time, the price of voice and messaging services in the non-EEA European countries, including the United Kingdom and Gibraltar, will decrease by 60%.
- Reduction of call and messaging tariffs by up to 60%, for LMT Karte customers: by up to 68%.
- Calls to Latvia and other EEA countries from LMT friendly networks: 0.59 €/min.
- Incoming calls: 0.35 €/min.
- Text messages: 0.12 €/SMS.
To ensure that the terms and conditions of the Internet via Handset service are in line with customers’ ever growing needs, the available internet volumes and tariffs will change as of 01.01.2021. The internet volume available for use in the EEA countries will also increase.
From then unlimited calls and internet within the Schoolchild Deal will cost 11.98 €/month.

For faster customer service, we recommend to use the Smart-ID QES certified authentication tool. It guarantees secure signing of documents in My LMT and enables instant authentication during calls to the toll-free line 8076 8076.
And in the LMT e-shop, we offer a wide range of various devices with free delivery to any place in Latvia. In Riga, same day delivery is also available for an additional fee.
Emergency support
We are committed, as far as possible, to support our customers who experience temporary financial difficulties due to Covid-19, e.g. revise LMT invoice deadlines, or payment timetables for installments, etc. and to find solutions on a case by case basis.
