LMT Karte
Yes, it is possible to use the LMT Karte in most countries of the world! Before you leave, make sure that you will be able to use the LMT Karte and your phone in the chosen network and in the country of your destination.
Important!
To use your LMT Karte abroad, you have to have the BASIC TARIFF or MONTH FOR ALL, your LMT Karte should be valid and the account balance should not be lower than the minimum charge.
If you have the WEEK FOR CALLS or WEEK FOR ALL plan, please activate the BASIC TARIFF:
- if you are in Latvia, text PT to 1626;
- if you are abroad, dial *278#, press the call button and wait for a confirmation message.
Copy Minimum charge is an amount that is sufficient to pay for the first accounting step of the service:
- the first 30 seconds of the call in EEA countries and 60 seconds in other countries;
- the first 60 seconds of the incoming call outside the EEA countries;
- SMS fee;
- to use the internet outside the EEA countries, the minimum account balance must be at least 6.00 € (the actual fee is calculated in EEA countries in increment of KB in EEA countries and increment of 32 KB in other countries).
Please note that the tariff for calls depends on the location of the caller and the direction of the call.
If you have the BASIC TARIFF or MONTH FOR ALL plan, this option is activated automatically. Just bear in mind that the first call must be made in LMT network!
If you have the WEEK FOR CALLS or WEEK FOR ALL plan, please activate the BASIC TARIFF:

- if you are abroad, dial *278#, press the call button and wait for a confirmation message.
Yes, but only in networks of specific providers. The called number should be entered in the international format.
In other networks you will have to use a different dialing option, i.e. the s.c. call-back. It means that you will have to enter a specific combination of keys and wait for a call from +37129202014. When you answer, you will be connected to the called party.
Yes, you can receive text messages irrespective of your LMT Karte balance.
The charge depends on the country and the chosen network. You can check the tariffs in the ABROAD section of our homepage by entering the respective country in the tariff calculator at the top of the page.
Important!
The balance of your LMT Karte should not be lower than the minimum charge.
If you use the LMT Karte, when you call from the EEA to other countries or from countries other than the EEA states, it is recommended to use the call-back – this option is less expensive. Besides, not all operators provide direct calling services.
In countries where both options are available, call-back is a better choice. Furthermore, the charge is calculated per second.
If the called party does not answer, you have to pay only for the call-back connection that is calculated on the basis of seconds.
The length of call-back is calculated in seconds.
Incoming calls and direct calls are charged depending on the region and the called number.
- In the EEA countries direct calls to Latvia are charged just like at home – on per second basis, calls to other EEA countries – for the first 30 seconds and then on per second basis, but calls to other countries – on per full minute basis. Charge for incoming calls in the EEA is calculated on per second basis.
- In other countries the charge for direct calls and incoming calls is calculated on per full minute basis.
Yes, with an LMT Karte it is possible to use the Internet in most countries of the world.
Important!
Please make sure that you have the BASIC TARIFF and that you have activated the possibility of using the Internet in other countries in the settings of your phone.

You can find out what is the balance of your LMT Karte free of charge by dialing *120#. You will receive a message with the account balance, expiry and use-by dates.
