Inspired by DJI's annual RoboMaster robotics competition, DJI engineers have created an educational robot that will help to unlock the potential of any learner. Boasting specific gaming modes and smart functionality, RoboMaster S1 offers in-depth understanding of math, physics, programming, and other sciences. It consists of 46 programmable sections that can be put together like building blocks, and six programmable AI modules. Featuring several obstacle recognition sensors and a four wheel drive, this robot can be programmed for various activities in Scratch 3.0 programming language extensively used in schools or a more advanced Python language used in combination with AI. It can follow a line, turn on crossroads, shoot plastic balls at a pre-set interval or produce an audio laser beam, or play back sounds and music. The AI technology allows this machine to recognize gestures, sounds and other S1 robots.
