Important!
From 8 February 2012 LMT extends the options of Internet for Travelling!
- Now Internet for Travelling is available also in Russia – pay no more than LVL 3 for 30 MB per day.
In the European Economic Area (EEA) countries, as well as in Switzerland, Russia and Turkey use the Internet safely, without worrying about costs!
- Activate Internet for Travelling or 24-hour Limited Fee and continue to surf while abroad SAFELY! Use up to 30 MB and pay no more than LVL 1 per day in the Baltics and Northern countries, use up to 10 MB and pay no more than LVL 3 in other European Economic Area countries, Switzerland and Turkey or use up to 30 MB and pay no more than LVL 3 in Russia. Send a message IC to service system number 1688.
- Activate Internet for Travelling+ or 24-hour Free Fee and continue to surf while abroad FREELY! Pay LVL 1 for 30 MB per day in the Baltic States and Nordic Countries, LVL 3 for 10 MB per day in other EEA countries, Switzerland and Turkey or LVL 3 for 30 MB in Russia. Internet roaming fee types
You may use the internet via roaming while abroad, while paying for it depends on the roaming region and the type of payment you have chosen:
- In specific regions - for a Day or for the volume of megabytes (MB) downloaded.
- In the other regions – for the volume of MB downloaded.
There are two types of payment for using the internet in a one day period, and you may select the one that best suits your internet usage requirements:
- Internet for Travelling or a Limited day fee for safe internet usage, which is your best option if you want to fully control your costs and do not download huge amounts of data;
- Internet for Travelling+ or a Open day fee for unlimited internet usage, which is your best option if you download huge amounts of data and do not want to trouble yourself with purchasing additional data volumes.
Both types of Day fee payments provides control of daily internet costs using a notification short message, which You will receive when Your data usage will be close to the volume included in Day fee.
Furthermore, irrespective of the type of payment you are using, your use of the internet is subject to the control of Internet roaming monthly costs.
Select and activate your type of internet Day fee and FREELY use it in specific regions without worrying about costs. Find out your current payment type for the internet by sending a message ICI to number 1688.

How to activate Internet for Travelling or Internet for Travelling+?
Activate your chosen Day fee option for internet roaming by sending a short message.
Send a message to number 1688:
- For the Internet for Travelling or Limited day fee, send IC
- For the Internet for Travelling+ or Open day fee, send IC+
Purchasing additional Day fee packages for Internet for Travelling
Purchase additional Day fee package for Internet for Travelling by sending a short message to number 1688:
- in the Baltics and Northern countries region, send ICA1
- in other EEA countries, Switzerland and Turkey, send ICA2
- in Russia, send ICA3
How to change the type of Day fee?
Change your type of internet roaming fee by sending a message. Send a message to the service number 1688:
- For the Internet for Travelling or Limited day fee, send IC
- For the Internet for Travelling+ or Open day fee, send IC+
- For the fee per MB, send IC-
Please note!
After you have received a confirmation message regarding the change of your type of internet roaming fee, please reboot your handset by switching it off and then back on.
When you have chosen your type of Day fee, your choice will remain effective until the next time you decide to change it and only in specific regions. It is not necessary to select a MB fee separately for the rest of regions. You may also activate your type of internet roaming fee or change it at manslmt.lv, as well as by visiting any LMT Customer Service Centre or at LMT dealers.
