International roaming
Roaming is a simple and convenient way of ensuring you continue to receive communications when abroad for your LMT connection number.
Important!
From 1 July 2011 new changes in the roaming tariffs!
Now ...
- Receive calls, while in European Economic Area (EEA) countries, and pay 21% less.
- Make calls from EEA countries to Latvia and other EEA countries - and pay 9% less.
- It is still more advantageous to call from EEA countries to Latvia by using Callback instead of a direct call.
- Incoming calls outside EEA countries are charged per full minute, as for calls to Latvia.
From 12 May 2011 use the Internet in the European Economic Area (EEA) countries, as well as in Switzerland and Turkey safely, without worrying about costs!
In these countries LMT offers a new type of payment – charge for 24-hour period:
- Activate Internet for Travelling or 24-hour Limited Fee and continue to surf while abroad SAFELY! Use up to 30 MB and pay no more than LVL 1 per day in the Baltics and Northern countries, and use up to 10 MB and pay no more than LVL 3 in other European Economic Area countries, Switzerland and Turkey. Send a message IC to service system number 1688.
- Activate Internet for Travelling+ or 24-hour Free Fee and continue to surf while abroad FREELY! Pay only LVL 1 for 30 MB per day in the Baltic States and Nordic Countries and only LVL 3 for 10 MB per day in other EEA countries, Switzerland and Turkey. Send a message IC+ to service system number 1688.
