4G – fastest mobile internet
Latvijas Mobilais Telefons has launched 4G technology (LTE) in the commercial mode allowing its customers to reach the mobile internet speed up to 100 Mbit/s.
The first base stations equipped with 4G are located in Jurmala and their number will be gradually extended along with development of 3G network. As it is already known, LMT 3G network is available in 87% of the territory of Latvia and by the end of the year the coverage will exceed 90% of the territory.
In order to use the fastest internet to its full potential, LMT offers to customers the latest generation ZTE MF820 internet modems operating on all networks - 4G, 3G and 2G.
4G network is available and ZTE MF820 internet modem may be purchased by users of the LMT connections „Internet via computer 19”.
